General conditions of sale
All sales made on the online store www.atelier-des-hirondelles.ch are subject to these general conditions of sale.

The buyer acknowledges having read them when placing an order and declares to accept them without reservation. The sales are exclusively reserved to the physical persons having the capacity to contract, with the conditions described below, i.e. to have the legal majority and not to be under guardianship or curatorship. If the Atelier des Hirondelles notes that one of these conditions is not applied, we reserve the right to cancel the order. The Atelier des Hirondelles reserves the possibility of adapting or modifying at any time the present general conditions of sale, and this, without notice. In the event of modification, it will be applied to each order the General Conditions of Sale in force at the day of the order.


1.      PRODUCTS
The products sold on the site are described and presented with the greatest rigor. The photographs, colors and texts illustrating the products presented are not contractual.

It is exclusively up to the purchaser, if he/she considers that he/she does not have enough information, to be assisted by an advisor. The seller cannot be held responsible if a product does not meet the buyer's expectations.
Most of the products, on sale, are personalized, and made as orders are placed. Production time is approximately 15 business days. For items already printed or in stock, allow approximately 5 business days to receive your orders.

2.      ORDER
Personalized items: you will receive a version of the requested illustration, within 5 working days following the order, to be validated by e-mail. At this time, you will have the opportunity to make some changes.
Once we receive this validation, your illustration will be produced and sent to your home within 10 working days.

L'Atelier des Hirondelles reserves the right to cancel any order from a buyer with whom there is a dispute over payment of a previous order.


3.      CUSTOM-MADE ITEMS - REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.
For the requests for custom-made outfits, the Atelier des Hirondelles prepares a drawing for you, which will be transmitted to you by e-mail. At this time, it will be possible to make modifications.
Once the drawing is validated, we will send you an offer, with a request for a deposit of 50% of the amount of the offer. Your payment validates your order.

Without payment from you within 10 days, the request is cancelled and the drawing (if it was made by Atelier des Hirondelles) remains our property and cannot be used by another dressmaker to make the outfit.
For all leotards and skating outfits (basic), you will receive an explanatory chart with the measurements to be taken, and the outfit will be made to measure.

The balance will be requested upon delivery, with an invoice.


4.      PAYMENT
The prices appearing on the site are indicated in Swiss Francs. They are applicable at the time of the validation of the order by the purchaser and do not include the participation in the delivery costs, invoiced in supplement and indicated before the final validation of the order.

The prices invoiced are those in effect at the time the order is registered on the site. The prices can be modified at any time.

The buyer can pay the amount by prepayment, TWINT, invoice (only for Swiss buyers), or, on request, by credit card. If you have chosen to pick up your order at the Atelier des Hirondelles, you can also pay by credit card (except Postfinance). We reserve the right to exclude certain methods of payment.

The buyer commits himself to pay the price within 10 days following the reception of the service. He will be considered in default of payment at the end of this period.



5.      REMINDER
The buyer will receive a first reminder, with a delay of 10 days, by email, free of charge.

From the 2nd reminder, which will be sent to you by mail, with a delay of 5 days, we will add Fr. 5.-- of expenses.

After this period, we will proceed to the collection of the invoice, by legal way.

The products remain the property of the Atelier des Hirondelles until the complete payment of the price.


6.      EXPENSES OF DELIVERY
The expenses of delivery are detailed in the section "Shipping" of the online store.

The ordered articles will be delivered to the address indicated by the purchaser on the purchase order. The buyer can request a delivery to an address different from the billing address when ordering.
7.      DELIVERY TIME
The products are prepared as orders are received, which may result in a delay before delivery, approx. 15 working days for frames and textile prints. We do our best to reduce this delay as much as possible.
For artistic sportswear or other sewn items, the delay is variable and depends mainly on the desired delivery date.

In case of an urgent order, please contact us (contact@atelier-des-hirondelles.ch), to see if it is possible to create your order in a shorter time.


8.      RETURN AND REFUND
In case of order of an artistic sports outfit, or personalized articles (I personalize), the Atelier des Hirondelles does not accept returns.
For the printed articles, a return is possible in the 10 days.

In the event of delivery of a product not corresponding to the order (defective or not in conformity), the purchaser must formulate his complaint in seven working days following the date of delivery of the order.

The complaints must be made by e-mail (contact@atelier-des-hirondelles.ch) or by mail. They must include the buyer's contact details, the invoice number concerned, the product references and the reason for the complaint.

The products must be returned by the buyer within 10 working days from the date of delivery and after acceptance by the seller, in their original packaging, with all their accessories, documentation, without having been used and in perfect condition.

The costs of packaging and transport of the return, as well as the reshipment, are at the customer's expense unless the return is generated by a delivery error on our part.

At the customer's choice and after validation, it will be proceeded either to an exchange of the product, or to the emission of a credit on a next order.

The respect of the present procedure is the express condition with the validation of a return by the Workshop of the Swallows.



9.      GUARANTEE
For the ordered outfits, sewn by our care, if there is the least concern (seam which cracks, skirt too long, etc...), contact us, and we will correct the problem. If the outfit becomes too small, during the season, we suggest you to see if we can do something, but it depends on the outfit. Children grow in fits and starts, in principle the fabric is elastic enough to compensate, but we cannot foresee these growth spurts, and an outfit made too big will not have the desired effect.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
